Stage 3 Separation is an innovative solids control management company, serving multiple industries across North America from multiple locations throughout the continent. During a pivotal moment of growth that occurred with the acquisition of another company, they relied on us to serve as their marketing consultants providing direction on how to gain earned media exposure through public relations.

Stage 3 Separation acquired BOS Solutions, a similar solids control services company primarily focused on the environmental services side of the industry. This acquisition broadened Stage 3’s services lines to encompass both oil and gas and environmental solutions, greatly multiplied their equipment fleet and expanded their geographical footprint across North America. We provided brand architecture consulting and changed our content strategy for their online marketing and website content.

The acquisition was an opportunity to gain  earned media exposure as well as improve their ability to be found by new customers online. We developed a press release that was published on their website and distributed through the Business Wire. We also worked with Stage 3 Solutions to identify key trade influencers and publications for additional media outreach.

As representatives to the media on behalf of Stage 3 Solutions, we monitored our communications channels around the clock after media release, making ourselves available to coordinate any interviews or gather comments for the press.

During the PR push through the business wire and additional outreach, Stage 3 Solutions received 56 total media mentions and shares from some top influencers in the industry on social media. We reached more than 24 thousand people all within the first few days after the release was published.
