Social Media Manager

About the Role:
Robot Creative is seeking a Social Media Manager who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and enjoys working across multiple industries. Our clients are “very large small businesses” and entrepreneurial companies that expect smart strategy, polished execution, and measurable results. This role is hands-on: you will help shape strategy, build accounts from the ground up, execute daily activity, and track outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute social media strategies in partnership with a Director.
  • Build and grow client social profiles from scratch across key platforms.
  • Create monthly content calendars aligned with client goals.
  • Design social content using Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • Draft copy, produce visuals, and coordinate with our design team to ensure brand consistency.
  • Monitor performance, optimize content, and identify opportunities to increase reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Prepare reports showing progress against goals, trends, insights, and next steps.
  • Participate in client meetings, presenting ideas, data, and recommendations with clarity.
  • Stay current with platform updates, best practices, and emerging trends.
  • Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, community engagement, and light reputation monitoring.

  • Confident, professional communication with clients (business owners and executives).

  • You can juggle multiple clients and industries without losing momentum or quality.
  • You’re comfortable moving between strategy conversations and production tasks.
  • You understand branding and can interpret style guides and creative direction.
  • You take initiative, solve problems, and look for ways to improve performance.
  • You communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of social media experience (agency experience preferred).
  • 4-year degree from an accredited university or college; major in marketing or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with social scheduling tools and platform analytics.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or strong Canva skills.
  • Experience preparing client-ready presentations and reports.
  • Strong writing skills and comfort with adapting tone for different audiences

Marketing Director

Pay:

$40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
