Computer Solutions provides managed IT, product procurement and installation services for organizations representing a wide range of industries. They are known for more than 40 years of friendly, local service and up-to-the-minute expertise. The company originally approached ROBOT for help with branding and development of a new website during a regional expansion of the business.
Our relationship has evolved to include the development of a strategic marketing plan and outsourced marketing services, including: development of sales materials, implementation of marketing automation programs, social and digital advertising, ongoing website maintenance and more.
A refreshed logo and color palette were the first step. Custom photography and regional imagery, along with voice and messaging guidelines provide a nod to the company’s Texan roots and reflect both the company’s regional focus and friendly approach. Finally, new graphic elements and typography guidelines were also created to help carry the reimagined brand beyond the logo and into all sales and marketing materials.
Central to Computer Solutions’ expansion was a redesign of their web site. They had outgrown their online presence, and a dated content management system made updates cumbersome. ROBOT rebuilt the site on a more user-friendly content management system that could be easily updated by the firm’s employees. Combined with refreshed branding, custom photography and content updates, the new website helped Computer Solutions reassert their position as a local expert in information technology.
The initial redesign provided a solid structure for ongoing evolution of the website as products and offerings shifted. The site has been restructured several times, with the addition of new services pages and category solutions. All of the new pages are SEO-optimized and the site serves as a backbone for ongoing digital marketing efforts. It supports a content marketing strategy with structure for blogs, case studies, events and more. There are also integrations with marketing automation tools including landing pages and triggered emails tied to specific digital advertising campaigns.
ROBOT created a strategic marketing plan for Computer Solutions. The plan at first supported both sales and marketing initiatives with the goal to increase warm leads and shorten the sales cycle.
As the company has decided to shift focus away from some product offerings and more toward other services and solutions, the plan provided the flexibility to evolve, and new marketing activities were recommended to support their new business goals.
Google search and display ads increased awareness for specific products and services among targeted audiences. These campaigns drove users to unique landing pages, blogs and case studies on the website. Regular and intentional social media posts also drove traffic and engagement from key decision makers and provided another touchpoint in the customer journey to encourage movement down the marketing and sales funnel.

ROBOT created sales collateral to increase brand awareness and educate customers on the service and product offerings of Computer Solutions. Multi-page brochures and one-sheeters were made to support outbound sales initiatives like sales meetings, and handouts, pull-up banners and other booth material supported the sales team’s presence at networking events, industry trades shows and more.
