The creative firm took Platinum in the Online Advertising and Marketing category for the new Mood Texas website. They also received a Silver award in the brand new “Coronavirus Communications” category for their marketing and social media support for Sea Island Shrimp House.

Mood Texas is a family owned, San Antonio headquartered, independent affiliate of Mood Media. They specialize in bringing the latest in-store media solutions to cultivate sensory experiences that inspire an emotional brand connection for shoppers and end users.
Mood Texas was looking to expand and control their local visibility while still staying true to the corporate brand through their online presence. We built an SEO-friendly website based on the corporate site design with customized content speaking to their local audience. We also defined clear target audiences and built an online advertising strategy coupled with an outbound email program to drive the new audiences to the website and capture leads. As a result, overall leads and qualified leads increased significantly, and in the first 7 months after the site launch, the company saw hundreds of goal completions which led to dozens of new leads and several closed sales.

Sea Island Shrimp House: Silver Award for Coronavirus Communications
The COVID-19 pandemic caused restaurants to close their dine-in doors and rely on to-go orders. Sea Island Shrimp House, a 50+ year-old local seafood restaurant chain, made this switch and needed help getting the word out. We were promoting online ordering before the pandemic hit, and when businesses were shut down due to the Coronavirus, Sea Island’s website was overrun with online ordering demand.
Restaurant ownership knew they needed something more to meet their customers’ needs. They started curbside pickup and we helped launch a campaign with quick messaging on the website about protocol, hours and a limited menu. We handled daily social media postings and constant response to questions about hours, ordering issues, menu changes and more. We also reached out to local media who were running stories about which businesses had curbside and online ordering available to keep Sea Island top of mind in the community.
At a time when grocery stores had scarcity issues and customers were confused and anxious about how to plan their next meal, our job was to keep the right messages going at the right times, including ongoing CDC guidelines changes. We adjusted ad spends to push “to go” messaging on Google Search and we created video ads posted to YouTube as well.
Where many other restaurants struggled to adapt to these early emergency changes, we were honored to be a part of the quick-thinking survivor strategy shown by Sea Island Shrimp House leadership and to help provide messaging and constant communication aid to them during this time.
