Three Summit Creative Awards Awarded to San Antonio Creative Firm in 2022

October 24, 2022

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Out of more than 3,400 submissions from 19 countries, Robot Creative, a top branding agency in San Antonio, has been awarded three international marketing awards. They were named a Bronze winner in Complete Rebrand/Redesign for their creative work for Orange Country Thermal Industries (an industrial product company), a Bronze winner in Website Redesign for their creative work with The Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas (a legal professional association), and a Silver winner in Complete Rebrand/Redesign for their creative work with a MiCasa Childcare Centers in the 2022 Summit Creative Award competition.

“Our goal is to develop unique and memorable brands for clients whether they come to us with an existing brand needing a refresh or want assistance repositioning themselves within their competitive landscape,” says Lara August, Founder and CEO at Robot Creative. “We work collaboratively with our clients to develop a branding strategy and execution that helps solidify who they are and where they want to go in their respective markets.”

Entries into this year’s competition were judged by a panel of esteemed international judges from Australia, Bulgaria, Canada, Germany, India, Italy, the Russian Federation, Sweden, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States. All creative categories are put through blind judging to evaluate innovative and creative concepts, strong executions and user experience, and the ability to communicate and persuade. Winners are selected in many categories from print and broadcast to online advertising, redesign and social media.

Mi Casa Childcare: Silver Award for Rebranding

We helped Mi Casa Childcare update their branding to focus on their mission – letting kids learn through play. The client chose a brand direction that highlighted two key differentiators. The first is Mi Casa’s education methodology which promotes learning both in the classroom and outside in natural spaces. The second is their passion for collaborative learning between staff, parents and the child which furthers trust and open communication.

Orange County Thermal Industries : Bronze Award for Rebranding

Orange County Thermal Industries wanted a refreshed brand reflecting their main differentiator: high-quality standards. We modernized their logo with a zig-zag pattern representing heat waves and updated the color palette with complementary blues. Our style guide and brand boards provided direction on imagery, voice and branding across assets.

Since its founding in 1994, the Summit Awards organization annually conducts the Summit Creative Award, the Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award and the Summit Emerging Media Award. Summit International Awards gives small and medium-sized creative firms and agencies a chance to compete to showcase outstanding work. The twenty-six-year competition engages more than 50 countries where applicants submit every year.

“Winning a Summit Creative Award is a significant accomplishment in one’s career. Only deserving entries receive recognition with vetted judges, tough judging criteria, two-phase blind judging processes, and strict bylaws limiting winners,” says Jocelyn Luciano, Managing Director for the Summit International Awards. “The creative work this year was outstanding. Watching the judges debate the details of individual entries in the run-off for the tops spots was inspiring.”
