Restaurant Brand Campaign & Video Production
Sea Island Shrimp House is a second-generation, family-owned fast-casual restaurant that has been feeding San Antonio since 1957. What started as a single location has grown to seven restaurants across the region, including a New Braunfels location that opened in 2016. Known for unique family recipes, generous portions and genuinely affordable pricing, Sea Island has earned a rare kind of loyalty: customers who have been coming back for decades.
When their 60th anniversary arrived, Sea Island didn’t just want to mark the occasion. They wanted to use it as a platform to reach new audiences, recapture growth momentum and remind San Antonio why this local institution had endured. They came to Robot Creative to build and execute that campaign from the ground up.

The challenge wasn’t to reinvent Sea Island. Its food, atmosphere, and family story were already meaningful attributes, and were set to play well, especially in their 60th anniversary year. The real opportunity was awareness. San Antonio has grown rapidly, with new residents, military families, and transplants who didn’t share the brand’s generational familiarity. Sea Island was beloved by longtime locals, but many newer audiences simply didn’t know it. We needed to reintroduce the brand to the market in a bigger, more visible way, using a fully integrated media, creative, and video strategy to connect with new customers.

Campaign Ceative Development
ROBOT built the 60th Anniversary campaign around a simple but powerful truth: Sea Island is not just a restaurant, it is a San Antonio story. The creative work centered on the brand’s longevity, family ownership and community roots, giving new residents a reason to be curious and loyal regulars a reason to be proud. Custom photography and campaign assets were developed to carry this message consistently across every channel.

Video Production
ROBOT produced a full suite of video commercials for the campaign, including branded anniversary spots and limited-time offer (LTO) spots timed to key sales windows. The anniversary spots led with Sea Island’s story and warmth. The LTO spots drove urgency around specific promotions, including the 1965 and Reel Deals that became anchors of the campaign. Each spot was produced for deployment across both traditional cable and streaming platforms.
Media Campaign:Cable and Streaming
The media strategy paired traditional cable advertising with targeted streaming to maximize reach across demographics. Cable reinforced broad brand awareness and anniversary recognition throughout the San Antonio market. Streaming was deployed more surgically, targeting specific zip codes surrounding all seven Sea Island locations to drive local foot traffic. LTO spots rotated into the media schedule during the appropriate sales windows, keeping the campaign both evergreen and promotional throughout the year.
Digital Advertising and Website
ROBOT ran a comprehensive digital layer alongside the media campaign. Google Search, Display and Demand Gen ads extended the campaign’s reach into active search behavior, capturing prospective diners at the moment of intent. Meta and paid social advertising amplified the visual campaign to targeted audiences. Dedicated website landing pages were built to support the anniversary campaign and individual LTO promotions, ensuring every ad click led to a relevant, conversion-optimized experience.
“Robot Creative truly understood what Sea Island means to San Antonio. They told our story authentically across every channel, and the results proved it: more traffic, more customers, more brand awareness. They were the perfect partner for our 60th anniversary.”
The campaign delivered measurable growth across revenue, traffic and brand awareness during a year when many restaurant brands were struggling to hold ground.
There was a significant lift in brand awareness around the restaurant and its LTO promotions and signature menu items.
