The San Antonio Manufacturers Association (SAMA) is the leading voice for the region’s manufacturing community, connecting manufacturers, suppliers and service providers through advocacy, education and its annual trade show. With a lean staff and a packed calendar, SAMA needed a partner they could trust to plan and execute their 2025 trade show marketing. Robot Creative was a new vendor relationship, which meant earning that trust quickly while hitting every deadline. The goal was clear: grow exhibitors, attendance and total event revenue over the prior year.
ROBOT collaborated with the SAMA team to select a theme and develop the full visual identity for the show. The selected direction, “Transforming Tomorrow: Manufacturing with Texas Strength,” positioned the event as the destination for education, networking and deal-making in the regional industry.
Trade show imagery featured a laser cutting machine fabricating the show’s tagline graphic, suggesting movement and progress in a way that resonated with manufacturing audiences. The approved branding extended across trade show in-expo signage, badges, registration device frame design, and digital and print ads.
The promotional campaign targeted three distinct audiences: potential sponsors, prospective exhibitors and registered attendees.
Each track received tailored messaging deployed over five months, with LinkedIn as the primary channel for both organic content and paid advertising to reach manufacturers and buyers across the region.

An email series supported the social campaign and reinforced key milestones across the promotional calendar.
Each message was aligned to the audience tracks and timed to drive action at critical registration windows.
A templated trade show landing page was also developed to organize exhibitor registration, the run of show and key speaker highlights in one clean destination.
The template was built for reuse, making it faster and easier to update for future years and reducing production time for SAMA’s team going forward.

The 2025 SAMA trade show delivered the strongest results in at least three years across every tracked metric, with the single largest year-over-year jump in attendance and revenue in the data available.
