Medina Agricultural Products is a third-generation, family-owned company specializing in soil health and environmentally responsible growing solutions. Their product lines serve consumers, independent retailers, distributors, and large national retailers. As their offerings expanded, the existing WooCommerce product catalog website no longer represented their brand or supported the needs of their diverse audiences. Robot Creative was engaged to evaluate the site, benchmark it against industry and cross-industry product catalog websites and develop a phased plan for redesigning both the visual and functional aspects of the site.

The previous WooCommerce site offered basic catalog functionality but did not effectively showcase products or the library of supporting materials offered by the company. Newer brand elements that were used in packaging and print materials were missing from the design of the website, creating inconsistencies between offline and digital experiences.
With customers ranging from individual consumers to wholesale buyers, Medina Agricultural Products needed clearer user pathways, improved product discovery features, stronger brand representation and a more scalable structure to support future SEO and content initiatives.

Robot Creative completed a full website audit including a competitive analysis, content review, navigation evaluation and SEO considerations. We developed a phased strategy focusing on elevating the brand online, reorganizing navigation for multiple audience types, implementing custom WooCommerce product catalog design features and expanding the site’s resource and content infrastructure.

The homepage introduces a stronger digital brand presence, showcases the company’s heritage and improves clarity around product categories and value propositions for specific audiences.
Custom WooCommerce Product Catalog Templates
Custom WooCommerce product templates were created to better highlight product details and related resources. Improvements included structured product information, expanded resource integration and consistent brand styling throughout the entire catalog.
News & Events Section
A redesigned news section allows the Medina Ag team to easily publish announcements, event updates and industry insights.

Improved Navigation for Multiple Audiences
Navigation was redesigned to support key browsing paths (products, use cases and brands) making the experience intuitive for consumers, retailers and wholesale buyers, while improving SEO performance.
Category & Brand Landing Pages
Category and brand landing pages were developed to improve search relevance and user flow. Category pages address specific audience needs, while brand pages serve users searching by product family.
Resource Library
A robust resource library was developed housing articles, videos, data sheets and other educational content. Resources dynamically populate on related product pages to improve access and engagement.
