Robot Creative’s Founder and CEO, Lara August, will be a judge in the final round of Trinity University’s “Louis H. Stumberg New Venture Competition”. She will join other notable community leaders and entrepreneurs on the panel of judges to help select a winner in the annual student start-up competition. The winner of the Stumberg pitch competition will have competed in two previous phases where they developed, pitched and executed their ventures with aid from business mentors and previous Stumberg finalists.
The Stumberg pitch competition honors the legacy of Louis H. Stumberg, a storied San Antonio business man and civic leader. The shark-tank style competition has a solid history of producing future start-up companies and entrepreneurs. The competition has funded up to 44+ companies with $325k since 2012. Lara looks to lend her business acumen, creativity and marketing expertise to help in the selection process.
