Robot Wins International Social Media Award

September 25, 2014

MM_MamasFavoritesRobot Creative’s social media efforts for Mama Margie’s Mexican Cafe have been recognized with a Silver award in the 2014 Summit International Marketing Effectiveness Award (Summit MEA) competition.

The Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award (Summit MEA) responds to a common need in the advertising sector: to acknowledge the contribution of advertising and the achievement of the advertiser’s business goals. The Summit MEA is unique because it reinforces that the goal of marketing communications is to change, influence or reinforce a target audience’s knowledge, attitudes, or beliefs. Using this premise as a basis for its judging criteria, the competition is becoming a true arbiter of marketing communication effectiveness.

MEA_award_web2“Many businesses still struggle to see real results from social media,” says Lara August, owner of Robot Creative. “We waited a long time to add a social media department to our business, because measurable results are so important to us. This award is a huge accomplishment for our newest business division.”

During the 2014 event, judges analyzed submissions and selected only 8% to receive the top spots. A truly international competition, the Summit MEA received submissions from the following ten countries: Canada, Denmark, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United States.
