ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
Apply today for an internship program that will give you onsite job experience working in an actual graphic design studio alongside professional designers.
With the help of our design team, you will design a logo for a non-profit organization. You will receive training and constructive criticism on your work to help you improve as a designer.
Many previous GEAR interns have gone on to professional design careers right out of college.
Experience you will gain:
- Brainstorming
- Researching
- Participating in Group Critiques
- Creating Thumbnail Sketches
- Working with Adobe Illustrator
- Working with Real Clients
- Designing as Part of a Team
Plus, you will develop projects you can use in your portfolio!
HOW TO APPLY
Our goal is to help talented and eager students who need to break into the industry. Preference will be given to students who are pursuing careers in design-related fields, and to students who are lacking experience. If you already have professional experience in design, this internship is not for you.
Applicant Requirements:
- Available 10 hours per week during normal business hours
- Reliable transportation
- Junior or Senior in College
- Art, Design, or other related Major
- Willingness to follow this project through until completion
